Engine House is a pretty, detached cottage offering very comfortable accommodation. The property sits in the grounds of an imposing period house called Hunston Mill, parts of which date from the 17th century. It is one of five very different properties available to let for holidays/short breaks, and it is well presented. Visitors are encouraged to enjoy the beautiful communal gardens surrounding the cottage and these gardens back on to open farmland. There is a large brick built barbecue area with seating, which is available for guests to use. There is also a very useful laundry room situated just opposite the cottage. There is no shortage of things to do in the locality, with two excellent golf courses just down the road, sailing at nearby Chichester Harbour, and the internationally renowned horse racing and motor sport at Goodwood within a fifteen minute drive. It is ideal for either a short break or extended summer holiday.
Some of the best attractions in West Sussex are situated within a fifteen minute drive of this village. There is the sandy beach at West Witetring, only about six miles away, which is regarded as one of the best beaches in southern England. There is sailing at Chichester Harbour, golf literally juist down the road (two courses), and horse racing and motor sport at Goodwood is only a few miles distant. the beautiful cathedral city of Chichester lies less than three miles to the north, and the South Downs lie just beyond.
