Stable Cottage is the right hand half of a pair of very pretty period semi - detached cottages offering very comfortable accommodation. The property sits in the grounds of a large period house called Hunston Mill, which lies just to the south of the village of Hunston, which itself is about three miles from Chichester. The cotatge sleeps up to 4 and enjoyus the usual cooking utensils as well as Freeview television and DVD player. It is one of five properties owned by the same owner, and guests are encouraged to use the lovely com,munal gardens which back on to farmland. there is also a large barbecue area, ideal for summer parties. the property is ideal for a "get away from it all" vacation, but equally so for an active holiday with all the local events nearby.
This area enjoys some of the best levels of sunshine in Southern England. It also boasts numerous historical places of interest, such as the Roman Palace at Fishhbourne, the Weald & Downland Open Air Musueum. Goodwood House and Stansted Park are also fascinating places to visit, as is Arundel Castle. Spinnaker tower in Portsmouth has some of the best panoramic views in the south.

Some of the best attractions in West Sussex are situated within a fifteen minute drive of this village. There is the sandy beach at West Wittering, only about six miles away, which is regarded as one of the best beaches in southern England. There is sailing at Chichester Harbour, golf literally juist down the road (two courses), and horse racing and motor sport at Goodwood is only a few miles distant. the beautiful cathedral city of Chichester lies less than three miles to the north, and the South Downs lie just beyond.

There is excellent sailing and other water sports to be enjoyed in the vicinity. The pretty town of Arundel, just to the east, has an annual festival, and also a wildlife park.
