73 The Fairway is a very pretty detached cottage set in a desirable private estate on the West Sussex coast. The property has great character, often referred to as a "Hansel & Gretel" cottage due to its appearance, and offers very comfortable family accommodation. It only a short walk from a quiet private beach and a few minutes’ drive from the activities and amenities available in the local area. The cottage was built in the 1930's and retains many of its period features. Originally purchased as a holiday retreat, the cottage remains a popular holiday destination all year round. You can enjoy winter walks along the beach to the Bognor Regis pier and of course the private beach is a real haven in the summer, with the area enjoying some of the best weather in the UK. The modern kitchen has a breakfast area overlooking the rear garden and there is also a separate dining area. The living room overlooks the front garden through the sun room, with doors opening onto the lawn. Both the front and rear gardens are great for children to play and just over the road there is a private "twittern" giving direct access to the beach. Upstairs, the double bedroom has a south facing balcony. There is also a twin bedroom, a third bedroom with bunk beds and a modern family bathroom. There is plenty of off-road parking on the driveway.
There is a wealth of activities that can be enjoyed in the local area, including water sports, sightseeing, walking, golf and cycling. The region has many historical places of interest to visit, including Arundel Castle, Chichester Cathedral, the Historic Dockyard at Portsmouth and the Weald & Downland Open Air Museum. There are annual festivals held in both Chichester and Arundel, and the busy city of Brighton is situated along the coast to the east. The area is well catered for in terms of shops, restaurants and bars with a huge selection within a short drive. London is also easily accessible by road or rail. Goodwood, just a few miles away, has become one of the UK's biggest attractions with its internationally renowned race course and motor sports events. People travel from all over the world to attend these events.
