Bramley Cottage is one of a pair of flint and brick cottages built to an extremely higfh specification in 2009. The cottages were designed in a period style and they combine character with modern fittings. They occupy a delightful semi - rural spot at the end of a farm lane, with paddocks and farmland all round. The comfortable accommodation will easily house four people, with a generous double bedroom on each floor, along with a super en - suite "wet room" off one of the bedrooms, and a tasteful modern bathroom to go with the other bedroom. The kitchen is well equipped with modern fittings including a dishwasher and washing machine and there is a super conservatory off the living room, which overlooks the garden. Guests can have the use of a telephone (billed separately) and there is internet access. Should a family of 6-8, or indeed 2 separate families, wish to stay here, there is of course the option of also renting the adjoining cottage, which is identical. They are both ideal for a "get away from it all" break, either for summer or winter.
Barnham is a very lively village with an excellent selection of shops and restaurants as well as a mainline station to Brighton/London/Chichester. There is also excellent access to the main A27 so that places such as Chichester (8 miles), Goodwood (7 miles) and Portsmouth (25 miles) are within easy driving distance. There is an excellent beach at Climping, only about 4 miles distant, and the beautiful and historic town of Arundel is situated just to the east. There are so many places to visit in the area, both of historic interest and also of scenic interest. The Victyory at Portsmouth is a popular tiourust attraction, as is Spinnaker Tower (also in Portsmouth), which has wonderful views. There is horse racing at both Fontwell and Goodwood and Chichester has the internationally renowned Festival Theatre. Some of teh best beaches in the area are to be found near Barnham, with West Wittering being one example. If all you want to do is relax and go for long country walks, there are footpaths all round the immediate vicinity.
