Rustington is a small seaside village offering a good selection of shops and facilities. It has a mainline railway station and regular bus service and just along the sea front to the west, there is a leisure centre with indoor swimming pool. There are numerous interesting places to visit, which are easily accessible from Rustington - Brighton, which lies about 29 km to the east , has a super range of restaurants and clubs and also has the fascinating "Lanes" where an array of eclectic shops can be enjoyed. It attracts tourists from all over the world. Chichester, which lies about 26 km to the west of of Rustington, is an historic market city with a beautiful centre, dominated by its famous cathedral. It is well worth a visit, as there is the internationally renowned Festival Theatre, motor sports and horse racing at Goodwood (a few miles north of Chichester) and numerous musuems to visit, including the unique Weald & Downland Open Air Museum in Singleton. The picturesque town of Arundel lies about 10 km to the north east and has a good selection of things to do and see, including the famous castle, boat trips along the River Arun and the Wetland Wildlife Centre.
