The property is set in an excellent position in the centre of Chichester, just off East Street, which is one of the four central streets which feed off The Cross. From the front door of the apartment building, one can literally be amongst all the various shops within 30 seconds, with cafes and restaurants being in abundance. The Festival Theatre is also within walking distance and there is a security intercom. Chichester is steeped in history, being famous for its Roman connections and the heart is enclosed by the ancient city walls. There are numerous fascinating places to visit, such as the Fishbourne Roman Palace, the Weald and Downland Open Air Museum at Singleton and Spinnakler Tower at Portsmouth, one of the highest viewing towers in Europe. The area is blessed with some of the best beaches in the area, such as the lovely sandy beach at West Wittering and wind surfing and sailing are popular past times. There is also the internationally famous Goodwood race course which hosts Glorious Goodwood, one of the calendars' most popular horse racing weeks.
